Variant Hero — Privacy Policy

Variant Hero ("the App") provides variant swatches for Shopify storefronts. This policy describes what information the App processes and why.

Information we collect

• Store information: your shop domain and an API access token, required to operate the App inside your Shopify admin.
• Product information: product options and variant data (names, values, images, availability), read to render swatches and to suggest colors in the App's admin.
• App settings: your swatch configuration, stored in Shopify metafields on your own store.

Information we do NOT collect

• No customer personal data is collected, stored or processed.
• No order or payment data is accessed.
• No tracking scripts or analytics are injected into your storefront.

Data storage and retention

Session credentials are stored encrypted in our database and deleted when you uninstall the App. Your swatch configuration lives in metafields inside your own Shopify store and is removed by Shopify on uninstall.

GDPR & privacy requests

The App implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Because we store no customer data, data requests are satisfied with an empty response and shop data is erased within 30 days of uninstall.
